About

I’m Kaitlynn Stan-Field, and Blooms & Beauty is where I write slowly about skincare, makeup, and the small beauty rituals I actually keep.

I’m not a dermatologist or a makeup artist. I’m someone who got tired of the ten-step miracle and the urgency, and started paying closer attention instead: how a balm gives under a thumb, the way a serum sinks in or sits on top, the particular hush of a first clean face in the morning. Beauty, for me, happens in those small physical moments, so that’s what I write about.

I test one thing at a time, usually in good window light, and I sit with it for a while before I say anything. When something much-hyped turns out to be overrated, uncomfortable, or just not worth the money, I’ll tell you that too. The name is Blooms & Beauty because I think of a shelf the way I think of a garden: things come into season, some are worth keeping, and most of the pleasure is in noticing.

Everything here is written by a real person, on real skin, in real light. No ghost-written filler, no pretending a routine is perfect.
